Workshop ideas

I’m looking for workshop and event ideas if you have any  brainwaves do drop me a line.

I’m also always on the look out for tutors so if you are a tutor or know of a fantastic tutor please get in touch.

I’d like to get a ‘knit outside’ event going within the castle grounds this summer, maybe a sponsered knit, or a little yarn bombing.

I really want to learn to spin so any spinning tutors out there?

I’d also like to shear a sheep but I don’t really think that would be a suitable workshop for the shop!!! lol

MD of King Cole

I had a lovely visit today from the Managing Director of King Cole and Debbie my rep.

I asked if K C would consider producing more mens, childrens and crochet patterns as we are short of choice in those areas. He was very open to imput both from myself and the customers who aired their views as well. It was great listening to him advise customers and talk about his yarns properties.

I ordered all the fantastic newly released patterns which include a really good selection of hats & scraves.

Plus I have the full range of Aero chunky arriving at the end of this week with great pattern support. I’ve also ordered a stand of various buttons and ribbons. I’ve just got to find a space to put it!!!!!

The MD also said he would be back in the new year and would come along to a knit and natter.
