I’ve been having a sort out and have a pile of yarn for two  £1  sale baskets tomorrow. These include Waves chunky, Kon Tiki dk cotton, Skye dk, Rustic dk, Patons eco cotton,  plus others.

My two girls are very keen to watch the coverage on the BBC from the start at 8am til the bitter end at 4pm. I’ll be knitting and waiting for the dress.

Right in the middle of the magic knitting workshop a delivery of Adriafil arrived. It caused a lot of ooohs and ahhhhs and a fair few missed stiches.

I’ve managed to unpack and drool this morning and here is the list of what has arrived. I’ve so far been good and not cast on anything. I want to finish my magic knitting and the Katia Bombay jacket I’m half way through first.

I’ve also got bag of Attimo and Mistero to knit up and I will be stocking them later this year.

We had a great day with Mary yesterday learning the art of magic knitting. 

It is fantastic when you grasp the technique but it certinally taxes the brain.

Rachel who attended the class popped into the shop  this morning and told me she’d forgotten to eat a meal and didn’t get to bed til after midnight because she was gripped by two sided knitting fever.

I’ve booked Mary for more workshops so watch this space for details.
